Senior Analyst, Customer Supply Chain

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Analyst, Customer Supply Chain drives the implementation of efficient supply chain services between SCJ and assigned customer/s. The goal is to achieve preferred supplier status and deliver against SCJ growth and profit objectives.  You’ll be the primary liaison between our sales organization and customers and SC Johnson’s (SCJ’s) Product Supply functions in relation to supply chain opportunities. Overall, the expected results are to implement sustainable, cost effective, supply chain processes while ensuring our customers are compliant with SCJ's Customer Operations Metrics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor Supply Chain scorecards and apply course corrective actions as needed for assigned customers

• Develop and deploy analysis and scorecards for communication to the customer, Supply Chain Managers and key cross-functional areas to improve supply chain compliance and effectiveness

• Deliver flexible supply chain options/tools and resources that enable growth goals

• Execute best route to market and cost-to serve supply chain processes for SCJ and our Customers; accountable for the supply chain initiatives that drive improved effectiveness

• Partner with sales to execute against strategic customer development opportunities and deliver Advantage Survey results

• Unsaleable/Returns collaboration across assigned customers to drive profitable category growth

• Coordinate with sales as needed to improve order and shipment processes

• Manage day to day issues with each assigned customer related to Supply Chain efficiency

• Monthly root cause analysis of KPI’s for their category/cluster – and identify/drive corrective actions

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field or military experience considered in lieu of education requirement

• 2+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience or 1+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience with advanced degree

• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS:

• Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite, intermediate in Excel, BW, SAP, Tableau and ability to learn and utilize customer systems and data

• Former customer facing experience

• Solid financial analysis ability

• Negotiation skills

• Able to work across organizational structures

• Able to represent Supply Chain internally and externally in a professional manner, both strategically and tactically

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrates analytical thinker

• Proactive, decisional, goal and results oriented

• An assertive yet collaborative and team-oriented leadership style

• Skilled in problem solving, plan development and priority setting

• Strong strategic and tactical skills and ability to ascertain when each is appropriate

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 - 10% travel time expected travel to other SC Johnson locations, travel overnight to customer locations

• Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
