Summary: Park vehicles and issue tickets for guests in a parking lot or garage
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet guests, assign parking space, and issue tags
Retrieve tags, locate vehicles, and deliver vehicles from parking lot or storage garage
Provide guest with information such as directions or wheelchair assistance, or instructions to locate their vehicles as needed
Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking area as required
Calculate parking fees to collect payment
Perform cash handling tasks such as making change, balancing, and recording cash in drawer, or distributing tips
Respond to guest complaints
Keep parking areas clean and orderly to maximize space availability and use
Inspect all vehicles for damage
Monitor parking area to prevent vehicle damage or property theft
Ensure guests are safe and escort guest to vehicle as needed
Respond to emergency situations and assist with guest issues such as a flat tire, dead battery, etc.
Complete other duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably within a customer service or property management environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance of a small team.
- Experience handling tenant or customer inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
- Proven ability to enforce company policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
- Experience with basic administrative tasks such as record keeping, reporting, and data entry.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and colleagues at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with property management software is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Understanding of basic property management principles and practices preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
