We are a dynamic hybrid workplace environment that requires at least 2 days a week in the office.

Under general supervision, supports the design, implementation and execution of the business and operational strategies of the department by interacting with Division, Bank and/or System stakeholders. Interacts with and provides support for key Division, Bank and/or System projects. Develops working relationships within the team, department, division and other business partners throughout the Bank. Using knowledge of multiple disciplines, manages projects related to business and operations, quality management, and operational controls. Delivers products and services to create efficiencies and improve business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in projects or assignments of moderate complexity; conducts a moderate range of activities and understands core business functions within the department; exercises sound judgment within defined procedures and practices; receives general instructions in all work performed; demonstrates the ability to understand risk, processes and the ability to apply knowledge in completing assignments.

  • Serves as a liaison between department and other business lines on process improvement efforts, projects, and/or other department specific initiatives; leads process improvement/solution discussions and presents outcome and actionable recommendations; coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders to improve operations efficiency, and department services; determines best practices and makes recommendations to improve business processes.

  • Produces written reports, documentation and other correspondence of varying complexity; builds relationships to effectively communicate key messages and process initiatives; creates, maintains, collects and distributes materials such as tracking spreadsheets, metrics and/or presentations.

  • Collaborates on process improvement projects; engages on process improvement projects; creates, modifies and updates new or existing business processes; participates on cross-department initiatives and projects; gathers and organizes information, conducts thorough and accurate work, supports findings and conclusions, makes recommendations, and follows-up, as appropriate.

  • May arrange and coordinate logistical details around meetings and conferences for the department; oversees planning functions inclusive of catering, facilities, and technology and communication.; may train, facilitate or troubleshoot event functions.

  • Draws on experience to resolve issues or projects of moderate complexity (scope/volume/impact) associated with business line processes.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or four years equivalent experience

Experience: Two to five years preferred

Qualifications

  • Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook)

  • Intermediate Excel preferred (run pivot tables)

  • A team player with a positive attitude

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Thoroughness, attention to detail and accuracy

  • Positive, approachable, and upbeat personality

  • Administrative Support with Process Improvement experience

  • Experience/Knowledge with Talent Management Processes

  • Event Planning experience (ie: CVent)
