Job Summary
The Junior Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of product shipments by maintaining accurate logistics data, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting quality release processes. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence in shipment execution, logistics coordination, and cross-functional communication to support on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Execution & Data Accuracy
- Maintain and continuously update the Shipment File with accurate release dates, ship dates, pick-up appointments, and shipment confirmations.
- Validate shipment data against the planning schedule to support OTIF delivery performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate input of logistics data into supply chain reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
Logistics & Pick-Up Coordination
- Coordinate and confirm pick-up appointments with third-party logistics providers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and the Supply Chain Team to ensure timely release of finished goods.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve logistics issues to maintain shipment schedules and minimize disruptions.
Release Management & Quality Investigation Support
- Partner with the Quality team to track and prioritize open investigations affecting product shipments.
- Follow up to ensure timely closure of quality investigations to prevent delays in product release and delivery.
- Ensure all finished goods release activities are completed on schedule and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Escalate risks to release timelines to the Supply Chain Planner or Supervisor and support resolution efforts.
Cross-Functional Communication & Escalation
- Serve as the central point of contact for shipment-related inquiries from Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Customer Service.
- Participate in daily and weekly operations and review meetings to report logistics status and resolve execution gaps.
- Proactively escalate supply chain risks that could impact customer shipments or product availability.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma with related experience 1-2 years of related experience. Additional years of job-related experience may be substituted for educational experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 1+ years of progressive experience in the Supply Chain Planning Role is a plus.
- Preferably, experience with JDE Forecasting/Planning and customer service modules.
