Senior QA Engineer

<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b>Test Planning and Execution:</b></p><ul><li>Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create detailed test cases.</li><li>Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.</li></ul><p><b>Automation Frameworks:</b></p><ul><li>Build and maintain robust automation frameworks for testing web and API applications.</li><li>Continuously improve test scripts to ensure scalability and efficiency.</li></ul><p><b>Defect Management:</b></p><ul><li>Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect-tracking system.</li><li>Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues.</li></ul><p><b>Collaboration and Communication:</b></p><ul><li>Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and product quality.</li><li>Participate in the SCRUM ceremonies and provide QA insights.</li></ul><p><b>Continuous Improvement:</b></p><ul><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and technologies.</li><li>Proactively suggest improvements to QA processes and workflows.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><b>Education:</b><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE).</li></ul></li><li><b>Experience:</b><ul><li>5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance.</li><li>Proven experience with automated testing frameworks ( Selenium)</li><li>Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.</li></ul></li><li><b>Technical Skills:</b><ul><li>Proficiency in scripting in Python</li><li>Advanced Sql scripting is a must</li><li>Experience with testing tools and platforms like JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Jmeter, Jupyter Notebook</li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).</li></ul></li><li><b>Soft Skills:</b><ul><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and lead QA initiatives inside the squad.</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>315_Sustainalytics SRL Legal Entity<p></p><p></p><p>Morningstar’s hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate in-person each week.
