Senior Software Engineer - C++

<p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Software Engineer - C++ </strong>for a global company in <strong>Skövde.</strong></p><p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>Start is in July 2025, 1 year's contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong><br/></strong></p><p></p><p>The client are in an transformation journey where their application CTRL is rewritten from Vcom to MQ. This involves a thorough analysis of current code and refactoring of it.</p><p></p><p>They are a team responsible for the end to end delivery of CTRL. Their team is mainly located in Skövde, with some resources in other cities in Sweden. The work will be closely performed with their Tech Lead for the application and that's why a presence in Skövde office is important. The application runs in multiple production Sites and is production critical.</p><p></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul> <li>A Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.</li> <li>Proven ability to work with and refactor legacy codebases.</li> <li>At least 5 years of practical experience with classic C++, especially in large, legacy codebases.</li> <li>Practical experience with modern C++ (preferably C++11 and newer).</li> <li>Strong grasp of C++ fundamentals: Classes, Inheritance, Polymorphism, and Encapsulation.</li> <li>Deep understanding of Pointers, Memory management, and Manual resource handling.</li> <li>Deep understanding of inter-process communication and messaging protocols.</li> </ul><p><br/></p><p>This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Skövde.
