Responsibilities
We are hiring a Cyber Systems Administrator, the HBSS Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, design, and administration of security tools, including McAfee ePO (HBSS) and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) for the systems application suite.
What you'll do:
- Configure and manage and maintain security tools in compliance with DoD requirements.
- Ensure security devices and tools are configured to monitor networks and systems for potential security violations and assist with incident responses.
- Provide input throughout the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) life-cycle and have a working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), system security architectures best practices, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures.
- Provide software upgrades as needed to include implementing security patches, bug fixes or other critical updates as they become available.
- Support Continuous Monitoring rotational duties in support of cybersecurity and RMF
- Maintain, update, and provide daily support for department task and project boards
Qualifications
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, IT Security, Computer Science or related field,
- 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years experience with no degree: equivalent work or military experience permissible in lieu of education.
- Host-based Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) administration / management.
- Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tool administration.
- Vulnerability scan tools such as Nessus, Metasploit, Retina, etc.
- Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) validation / compliance implementation.
- DoD enterprise configuration compliance
- McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Host Based Security System (HBSS) and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) Administration.
- SQL database experience (medium level)
- Implementing National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and RMF standards and framework.
- Strong systems administration troubleshooting skills.
- Must maintain current CompTIA Security+ or higher certification.
- Must have HBSS 201, 301, and 501.
- Must have an active DoD SECRET CLEARANCE and ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
