What You Will Do:
Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) offers an excellent opportunity to join our diverse, energetic, and collaborative environment in support of the dynamic and growth-oriented development Advanced Technology Programs. Our procurement department manages all engineering and development procurements for the Advanced Technology Effectors and Space Programs. In this role, you will foster relationship with suppliers, administer subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services. You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of the various contracts.
Preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations/Proposals
Perform price and cost analysis and lead formal negotiations, Price, delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions.
Place subcontracts/purchase orders and associated change orders
Issue and conflict resolution of medium/high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various subcontract types (Cost Types, Firm Fixed price, Time & Materials)
Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc) to achieve objectives
Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews.
Ability to travel as required
This position is remote or can be hybrid at our Tucson, AZ location.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.) and experience assessing proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field
Project planning and management skills (ex: MS Project, EVMS) Experience in working with development type of procurement and major subcontracts
Active and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance
Experience in a SAP based environment
Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services – including Statement of Work (SOW) review
Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
