About the role

Position Summary

This role is responsible for overall General Affairs duties but primarily will assist the president, business travelers, and expatriates. In addition, works on projects to improve processes on contract management services, recycling, and janitorial.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Provides internal and external translation to expatriates (i.e.) Governmental and Non-Governmental services
2.  Assist business travelers, expatriates, and employees with necessary requests to support the business and production. (20% travel)
3.  Maintain conference rooms and other areas of the building for upkeeping of the facility.
4. Management of office supplies through indirect purchasing. 
5.  Provide facilities management activities in order to support production. 6. Manage leased equipment. Maintain external service agreements to support production such as printers, water machines, and uniforms.
6.  Work on special projects to improve processes and assist the workforce. 
7.  Assist with event planning for the facility.  
8.  Contract management of external service vendors for facility management (i.e.) janitorial, catering, recycling, etc.  Process monthly invoices and track trends of the related cost.
9.  Set recycling plans, goals, and initiatives in the community to minimize waste and encourage program participation and compliance.
10.  Drafts and implements operations budget.  Completes paperwork, recordkeeping, or monitoring required for grant-funded projects. 
11.  Performs all other duties as required. 

Skills and Qualifications

1)  REQUIRED: Must be Bi-lingual between Korean and English.

Must have a valid driver's license and comply with US Regional Company Vehicle Driver Policy. Specifically, must be fluent in both written and verbal communication between the two languages.
2)  Education: High school diploma or GED with 3 years of relevant work experience required; OR a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Public Administration, or other related major preferred.
3)  Experience: Experience with managing contracted vendors, including budgeting, quality reviews, and invoicing preferred.
4)  Knowledge: Extensive work experience as a Certified Recycling Professional or familiarity with the state's Department of Environmental Protection regulations, waste/recycling services preferred. 
5)  Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications required.  Project management, time management, problem solving, and communication skills preferred. Strong supervisory and leadership skills are preferred.  Good conceptual and analytical ability required.  Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required.
6)  This is a global role and will require actively working with Samsung's Korean headquarters. 
7)  Physical Requirements:
--------Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
--------Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
