About the role

Drivers are required to load/unload vehicle and perform other warehouse duties when not making deliveries.
Must be able to report to work on time and work until route completion, there is no definite quitting time. Must be able to work overtime when needed (while complying with FMCSA hours of service regulations)
Complete deliveries to pre-assigned customers daily. Routes are subject to change.
Must be able to assist other drivers when needed.
Conduct pre/post trip inspections and properly log any defects
Apply proper safety techniques while climbing in/out of vehicle and loading/unloading cases of product (with and/or without ramp) from the back of the delivery vehicle.
Drivers are expected to observe all federal and state traffic laws and drive with caution to avoid causing breakage and shifting merchandise.
Verify accurate product is delivered to the appropriate recipient
Verify accurate funds are received at the time of delivery (drivers will not accept cash)
Must provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional business relationship with customers
Will need to know how to read, write and us basic math to calculate changes to invoices
Other duties as assigned
Must have experience driving a delivery van or larger.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have and be able to maintain valid Driver’s License
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to pass background check (i.e. police backgrounds, reference checks…).
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:
Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph)
Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years
Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years
