Team Assistant, Scheduler Medicare Home Health-LPN

Description

Position Summary:

• Provides clerical support to the Clinical Manager in managing the day-to-day team operations.
• Supports the home health team by anticipating and responding to team processes related to scheduling, and complete, accurate, and timely flow of patient information.
• This includes, but is not limited to, patient visit scheduling; MD orders management; assigned workflow processes; and general clerical support to Clinical Manager and assigned clinical Team functions.
• Responsible for keeping the flow of team processes organized to expedite communication and support policies and procedures that ensure smooth, continuous team operations.
• Maintain a current client roster with necessary information.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, team members, and other healthcare professionals.
• Promote the Company's financial success by maintaining proper caregiver pay rates and limiting overtime hours.

Requirements

Experience:

• At least one (1) year experience in a general office environment
• Home health experience a must
• Kinser/Wellsky preferred

Skills:

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
• Computer skills.
• Must read, write and comprehend English.

Education:

• LPN license.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking are required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner at all times.
• Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and Company needs.

Environmental/Working Conditions:

• Works primarily in an office environment.
• Some exposure to unpleasant weather.

Machinery/Tools/Equipment Requirements:

• Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.
• Computer and basic office equipment.
