Job Title: Java Backend Engineer

Work Location: Irving TX

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in Java-Spring Boot-Microservices to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background with a good understanding of web technologies, web services, and microservices architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance backend applications and services.
 

Job Responsibilities:
• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services and applications using Java-Spring Boot-Microservices stack.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to applications and services.
• Monitor and optimize performance of applications and services.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in developing applications and services using Java-Spring Boot-Microservices stack.
• Good understanding of web technologies, web services, and microservices architecture.
• Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
