The University of Arizona invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Coach, Men's and Women's Track and Field. The position reports to the Director, Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country and acts within the rules and regulations of the University, Conference, and NCAA.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting.

Duties & Responsibilities- Oversee design and implementation of training programs for all Horizontal Jumps and Multi events that focus on individual and team performance improvement.
- Recruit highly talented student-athletes to ensure a competitive roster.
- Foster a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, academic excellence, and personal growth.
- Complete Administrative duties as assigned (e.g., working with the business office to submit paperwork and travel requests in a timely manner).
- Assist in day-to-day operations, which may include preparing for practices and competitions.
- Oversee team and individual practices.
- Assist in all areas of the track and field program.
- Assist with all home meet management operations, including Cross Country.
- Budget accountability.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations pertaining to track and field programs.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Playing or coaching experience at the Division I level.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel, as needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
- Master’s Degree.
