Emergency Medical Technician - Team Lead

Job Overview: The EMT Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) during emergency response operations, ensuring effective patient care and operational readiness. This role involves leading and supervising the EMT team, assessing patient conditions, managing daily operations, and ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices. The Team Lead also provides training and mentorship to both new and existing EMTs, conducts skills assessments, and maintains accurate documentation of patient care and incident reports. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of emergency medical procedures.  

As a EMT Team Lead, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• EMT Basic IL license. AHA BLS & ACLS required.
• Valid Driver's License 

Compensation:

Hourly Range - $18.06-$25.28

Incentives:

Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.

Bonus:

Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
