Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?

As a Global Mobility Director, you will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of our global mobility program. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a consistent and scalable global mobility strategy, primarily focused on Canada, Germany, UK, Ireland and the US. Additionally, you will coordinate with internal stakeholders within Human Resources, tax, legal and payroll and manage our relationship with external mobility and tax vendors to optimize our organization's global mobility program.

What Will You Do?

  • Develop, implement, and manage the administration of internal policies and practices for mobile employees.
  • Coordinate the approval process flow amongst key stakeholders for new mobility arrangement requests.
  • Facilitate preliminary and ongoing discussions with business management to understand the business need, identify risks, and provide options for line of business consideration and approval.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities to establish tax compliance frameworks and internal procedures.
  • Coordinate data needs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist internal payroll team with ongoing processing, including imputed income calculations, shadow payroll administration, multi-jurisdictional allocations, and year-end reporting.
  • Partner with relocation vendor to administer relocations and assignments, including cost projections.
  • Evaluate potential technology resources to enhance efficiency and improve the employee experience.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on global mobility topics, such as immigration, relocation, tax equalization, and tax and mobility-related consultations to the business and employees throughout the process.
  • General administration of global mobility processes such as coordination of billing/invoices, reimbursements, tax payments, and communications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Experience with Workday HCM or similar HCM systems for global payroll and tax compliance.
  • General knowledge of immigration laws and visa regulations.
  • Experience with mobility management software.

What is a Must Have?

  • Five or more years of global mobility experience either in-house or as a service provider.
  • Strong technical understanding of international tax principles relating to mobile employees, including tax equalization and expatriate assignment policies.
  • Experience with designing, implementing, and managing mobility programs.
