The opportunity

Presight is looking for an experienced Delivery Engineer to take challenges for support and maintenance of existing, key projects/system of new compute and network technologies across our global production infrastructure footprint. This position will work at a strategic level with internal and external Operation Team, and other cross functional teams to develop strategies for integrating new technologies and to better support existing technologies across the operational fleet.

The Delivery Engineer shall install, configure, and maintain server environments, AI platforms, and supporting systems. They will also help developer teams do the troubleshooting, respond to and troubleshoot service requests, incidents/problems, incident and service request escalations. Provides support to systems including day today operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the server/storage/client devices, etc.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
• Install, configure, and maintain server environments, AI platforms, and supporting systems.
• Oversee the installation, integration, and testing of vendor supplied platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Work closely with AI, and analytics platform vendors to ensure system readiness.
• Conduct performance testing, validation, and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation of system configurations, integrations, and operational workflows.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the AI based Safe City and analytics platforms.
• Monitor and optimize AI workloads, ensuring proper data ingestion, processing, and analytics performance.
• Identify and resolve system performance bottlenecks and ensure compliance with security best practices.
• Implement software updates, security patches, and version upgrades for AI and integrated platforms.
• Work with vendors and inhouse teams to integrate AI based analytics platforms with front end infrastructure including but not limited to CCTV, body worn cameras, radar, IoT devices.
• Validate vendor system configurations, APIs, and data pipelines for smooth integration with command-and-control systems.
• Ensure that vendor deployments align with Smart City program architecture and security policies.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues related to AI, video analytics, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure rapid issue resolution and system stability in line with the defined SLAs.
• Document root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, and Risk Management policies.
• Maintain system security, access controls, and compliance standards for AI and other platforms.
• Identifies operational problems by observing and studying the functioning and performance of systems.
• Provides operational management information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating and engineering trends.
• Develops operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating, and testing alternative approaches.
• Anticipates operational problems by studying operating targets, modes of operation, and unit limitations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading publications, and participating in professional organizations
• Perform other related work as required
