Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and versatile IT/Data Analytics Intern to join our team. This role combines responsibilities from both the IT and Data, Analytics & Insights departments. The intern will provide technical support for hardware and software-related issues, assist in imaging computers, support game day operations, and contribute to project management and cybersecurity efforts. Additionally, the intern will support analytics requests, CRM management, database data quality, and data science initiatives. This position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, ideal for a student or recent graduate eager to develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware and software-related issues.
- Image and configure computers for new users.
- Assist in game day operations, ensuring all IT systems are functioning properly.
- Support project management tasks, including updating tasks and projects in our project management platform.
- Contribute to cybersecurity efforts by following established protocols and procedures.
- Support user accounts, including creating and managing accounts, and handling password changes.
- Set up and configure meeting rooms, including audio-visual equipment.
- Assist with desk setups and moves, ensuring all IT equipment is properly installed and configured.
- Assist with analytics requests, including list pulls, campaign reporting, and data validation tasks.
- Support the CRM team with technical debt cleanup, report/dashboard structuring, and user acceptance testing (UAT) surveys.
- Contribute to database data quality efforts, including data integrity checks and validation within Snowflake and AWS environments.
- Aid in data model development by helping integrate new data sources and build frameworks for future models.
- Provide data science support through exploratory data analysis, experimentation, and simple modeling tasks.
- Perform data audits, such as sponsorship deal sheet reviews and AI bot messaging checks, to maintain data accuracy and streamline processes.
- Collaborate on Sales Engagement reporting and campaign lead building for review by department leaders.
- Contribute to organizing and updating training guides, SOPs, and documentation for internal processes.
- Support team requirement gathering across departments.
- Conduct generative AI testing to identify potential AI hallucinations and ensure the reliability of AI-driven tools.
Qualifications:
- Students or recent graduates with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Foundational knowledge of data analysis, with familiarity in R or Python for data processing and analysis (preferred).
- Basic understanding of data management within databases such as Snowflake, SQL, and AWS, and an interest in improving data quality.
