About the role

Menlo School wants to learn about and meet educators who want to become a part of our learning community now or in the future. We typically hire candidates for the following Teacher positions: 

● English, Math, Science, World Languages, Social Sciences/History, Art (Performing/Visual)

Our teachers have a genuine love of middle school students and are excited to work with all types of learners. Full-time teachers at Menlo School are responsible for four class sections, overseeing a student advocacy group, attending grade-level trips and off-campus student activities, supporting major extracurricular activities, and participating in team meetings and school-wide committees. They have at least 3 years of teaching experience in middle school grades, a Bachelor’s degree (a Master’s degree is strongly preferred), and broad knowledge of and experience with current best practices in curriculum and instruction, especially standards-based learning.
