Oak Street Health is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Lead Provider Sourcer that will report to the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition Delivery and Operations as part of our People Experience (HR) Team. This individual will be responsible for building and delivering candidate pipelines through continuous research, sourcing and qualifying. 

As a Lead Provider Sourcer you will be leading and driving our approach to cultivating and maintaining relationships with premium prospects and candidates to deliver upon both immediate and forecasted hiring needs. You will be responsible for executing Oak Street’s talent sourcing strategy across all business units. The role will develop and lead sourcing strategies to meet overall business talent acquisition goals. This is a high impact role requiring exceptional partnering skills with demonstrated ability and experience to develop a pipeline sourcing strategy, influence stakeholders, provide insight into the talent marketplace externally to take the best approach, and deliver outcomes. A key purpose of this position is to support Oak Street’s. This role will create research and sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent with diverse backgrounds and skill sets. This individual will partner with Talent Acquisition leadership and the Recruitment Marketing and Analytics team to understand staffing needs to develop and implement a proactive, innovative sourcing strategy. This individual will focus on sourcing, assessing, and selecting qualified applicants to refer as candidates for open searches, which includes networking and cultivating a talent pipeline creatively and effectively. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster, drive and deliver innovative sourcing strategies to identify and execute candidate generation strategies, proactively researching and assessing new recruitment methodologies.

  • Understand competitive landscape influencing available diverse talent. Function as an expert on industry specific diverse websites, associations, blogs, and diverse communities of interest to create multi-pronged sourcing strategies. Influence best practices with team and stakeholders.

  • Build on existing, collective sourcing experience with demonstrated expertise leading the sourcing efforts of passive candidates using innovative sourcing approaches.

  • Conduct external benchmarking to understand the competitive intelligence landscape.

  • Function as an instrumental point of contact for the business, HR, Talent Acquisition Leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Work with Talent Acquisition team and Leaders to ensure successful differentiated hiring is achieved with improved client and candidate sourcing strategies/outcomes.

  • Support team members and Talent Advisors in getting the right people, skills into the right roles, including strategic understanding, planning and coaching for the manager on what they need i.e. scoping the hiring. Effectively coach team members to anticipate and minimize risks on sourcing engagements at both micro and macro levels


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment and/or sourcing, specifically in provider (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Physicians, Behavioral Health Specialists and Medical Directors)

  • Ability to develop, document, and distribute diversity sourcing resources and processes to stakeholders

  • Ability to analyze effectiveness of sourcing efforts through data analysis and reporting to identify areas of improvement and provide data-inspired recommendations guide decision-making related to diversity recruiting strategies and goals. 

  • Understanding of recruiting and/or sourcing metrics and reporting standards.

  • Experience with TA technology: HRIS, ATS, sourcing, recruitment marketing, etc

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
