None/Not RequiredThis position is for a Staff Quality Assurance Technician who works under general supervision. Conducts basic to moderately complex quality analyses and inspections. Analyzes corrective actions and process reengineering. Reviews Quality Assurance materials to ensure alignment with regulatory standards. May assist in orienting, training, and assigning work of business support employees.
What You Will Do:
Works under minimal supervision on weekend shifts to assist with the development and implementation of program quality plans and procedures
Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures
Reviews quality data and determines if products and processes are aligned with internal documentation
Proactive auditing for quality implementation and compliance (i.e. process walks, OES, work instruction reviews)
Performs root cause identification of production turn backs/defects using Sherlock or Synergies
Surveils operator and inspector performance
Raises notifications of non-conformances, quarantines non-conforming product and when approved to do so, provides disposition
Mentors operators with a professional, positive attitude
Collaborates with other members of the product support staff
Business travel to support other facilities
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Current or Previous experience in a quality role
Manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaboration skills
Computer knowledge and skills
Working knowledge of quality system requirements (i.e. QMS, WSM, 580, Dept. Procedures, EMP)
Experience with MS Word, Excel
