The Role

The Senior Manager, Sales Engagement & Hotel Sales Strategy is a strategic, field-facing leader responsible for developing and executing sales engagement strategies to support Wyndham’s hotel brands. This role works directly with franchisees to identify sales gaps, strengthen lead response, and activate revenue-generating tools and programs. By leveraging performance data and market insights, the position delivers tailored action plans, coaching, and consulting to help hotels improve their sales readiness and win more business. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in hotel sales, a strong understanding of multi-segment business, and the ability to build trust with both hotel leaders and internal stakeholders.

What you'll do

Sales Strategy Development & Execution 

  • Build and execute sales strategies tailored to regional and segment-specific hotel needs. 
  • Analyze performance metrics and market conditions to prioritize engagement. 
  • Create strategic recommendations for improving sales process and driving system adoption. 
  • Develop action plans for hotels to improve lead response and sales conversion. 

Hotel Engagement & Support 

  • Partner with hotel GMs, Directors of Sales, and ownership to evaluate sales health. 
  • Conduct virtual and on-site consultations to improve selling practices. 
  • Support program implementation such as WR Business, Cvent, and Everyone Sells. 
  • Deliver custom engagement based on business mix and opportunity. 

Internal Collaboration & Hotel Advocacy 

  • Serve as the hotel advocate across Global Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations. 
  • Share hotel feedback to inform enhancements to tools, training, and strategy. 
  • Work with Franchise Development to communicate the sales value proposition to prospective owners. 
  • Partner with internal teams to align resources, messaging, and support. 

Performance Monitoring & Strategic Insights 

  • Use data tools (e.g., Salesforce, RevIQ, NexGen) to evaluate sales performance. 
  • Track hotel program adoption and engagement impact. 
  • Deliver insights and reporting to drive performance improvement. 
  • Identify trends and share best practices across the organization. 

Supportive Leadership  

  • Foster a positive and collaborative environment among hotel staff to encourage team engagement and productivity.  
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative ideas and solutions from team members.  
  • Serve as a resource for sales staff, addressing questions and challenges related to sales operations and processes.
