Job Description
M3T Corporation is seeking a skilled and dynamic Technical Services Lead to join our team. This leadership role requires an individual with a strong technical background and exceptional interpersonal skills to guide the successful deployment and support of security solutions. As a Technical Services Lead, you will collaborate closely with the Operations Team to oversee and manage a variety of projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction. From installing and configuring enterprise-level security systems to troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software, you will play a critical role in delivering seamless solutions to our clients. In addition to technical expertise, you will be responsible for training staff, fostering client relationships, and supporting business development efforts. Job Duties:
• Continuous Collaboration with the Operations Team to successfully facilitate and complete projects and work orders, including but not limited to client communication and coordination, material requests and management, hardware installation, programming, commissioning, invoicing support, and closeout.
• Deploy enterprise-level on-premises and cloud-hosted security solutions.
• Perform software upgrades for multi-server applications in complex environments.
• Maintain strong relationships with our clients to ensure the effective use of the solutions we deploy.
• Assist the Business Development and Account Management Teams in designing solutions to meet client needs.
• Troubleshoot electronic security hardware systems and software.
• Responsible for the knowledge and application of networking fundamentals.
• Complete the testing, evaluation, and solution management of new technology solutions.
• Complete projects and service calls to support work necessary for fostering customer satisfaction.
• Provide training on the end-to-end use of a solution, including hardware functionality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation for internal and external use.
• On-call to support our client needs outside of regular working hours and weekends.
• Frequent travel and overnight stays may be required to implement and support solutions in multiple states (<50%).
• Work in diverse environments such as indoor/outdoor, various weather conditions and different professional settings, including construction sites or those occupied for business.
• Pursue continuing education for ongoing professional development.
• Lead and manage a small team of technical services administrators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience working in the Electronic Security Industry OR a minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a related industry and a bachelor’s degree.
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance to perform work on federal contracts.
- Possession of a CompTIA Network+ or A+ Certification within 3 months of hire.
- Possession of a Cisco CCNA Security or CompTIA Security+ Certification within 12 months of hire.
- Possession of a distinguished Access Control and Video Management System Certification is highly preferred.
- Possession of strong working knowledge and experience with computers, servers, and virtual environments.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Networking, Microsoft Desktop, Server, SQL, and Application platforms.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a focus on performing high-quality work in a time-effective manner.
- Possess the ability to problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work dynamically within a diverse group of geographically distributed teams.
- Able to read and understand system drawings, blueprints, and Schematics.
- Able to safely operate hand and power tools, lift 50 pounds, use of ladders and scaffolding, and stand for extended periods of time.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience installing and configuring commercial-grade security equipment.
- Experience with enterprise-level access control, cameras, system integration, and software programming.
