To support that challenge, Syngenta Italia is looking for Field Production Agronomist Support in Casalmorano (CR).

Job Description

In this role, the candidate will support the Field Production Team in continuous improvement culture, data management, field and plant related activities in compliance with Syngenta HSE requirements.

 Responsibilities:

•     Support Agronomist activities during the season (from planting to harvest)
• Field agronomic operations follow up
• Manage data collection tool and analysis
• Interaction with R&D, Seed Production Research, Trial Seeds and Plant Processing

Key factors are:

• Understand basic agronomics
• Willingness to work in a variety of conditions (field and plant)
• Problem solving, teamwork
• Ensure support and proactive approach
• Carry out work in compliance with Legal and Syngenta standards on HSEQ
• Ensure responsive and accurate communication flows with all functions
• Establish excellent working relationships with key functions/stakeholders

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

• Master’s degree/Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or equivalent experience
• Excellent knowledge of excel & Microsoft Office
• Project management skills
• English level B2
• Valid driving license is needed (B)

Location: Casalmorano (CR)

Type of contract: 6,5 months starting from approximately mid March 2023
