First Shift 7am - 3:30pm Mon-Fri, occasional weekends and overtime, including weekends
Pay Range
$20.80 - $31.20EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED equivalent with one year of experience performing related work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Coordinates the handling of incoming and outgoing shipments; performs verification of new merchandise against purchase orders and invoices; distributes materials and equipment according to requisition.
2. Prepares receiving reports on all materials, equipment, and on shortages and damaged materials received.
3. Maintains outstanding order, purchase order, and requisition files.
4. Receives outgoing shipments returned for credit, exchange, or repair; packs merchandise for shipping; types shipping notices and bills of lading; enters information into the computer and maintains shipping logs and records.
5. May independently open and close a receiving facility other than the main campus dock.
6. Maintains clean and orderly conditions in assigned work area.
7. Recommends orders of equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to perform required work.
8. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic math skills.
Ability to provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
Ability to work independently.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Clean, well-lit office environment.
