The Business Systems Analyst will be on a core member of the fund finance team of a rapidly growing organization. This role is tasked with leading efforts to implement software solutions to enable the digital transformation of the fund finance team as well as develop the processes to maintain the system. S/he will need to be able to deal with a wide variety of types of data, including but not limited to financial, capital markets, qualitative, real estate, clinical and personnel. S/he will also need to think outside the box to come up with ways to improve processes and the existing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct business process analysis and needs assessments to align software solutions with business initiatives.
• Build on existing but disparate sets of data to develop information architecture that includes a wide range of financial, HR, operations, and historical data organized into an appropriate taxonomy
• Execute software implementation, process redesign and other projects.
• Work with senior team members to gain institutional buy-in of solutions and proposed processes
• Work with senior IT leaders to incorporate knowledge of business and technology to develop digital transformation roadmaps to enable the team to scale efficiently
• Support integrations between business systems, including requirements definition, architecture mapping and functional testing
• Liaise extensively with external service providers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a point of contact for issue escalation and incident management, coordinating across the organization or jumping in to solve problems as needed
• Continuously learn, question, improve and automate our business analytics capabilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a field related to data analysis or systems implementation
• A history of leading and supporting complex projects successfully
• Project Management experience
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes spanning multiple functions
• Ability to quickly understand financial, business, and technical concepts
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and partnership skills, including synthesizing information for senior management and presenting financial information to a non-financial audience
• Effective time management, organization, and prioritization skills in managing multiple projects with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work conscientiously and with minimal direction, using good judgment, taking initiative to accomplish short and long-range projects, and recommend actions with minimal direction
• Ability to work as a team member, multi-task and be very flexible to adapt to the ever-changing work priorities and requirements of a dynamic, fast-growing company

• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, or other leading-edge software provider
