The Opportunity:
The Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor position is for our newly incorporated warehouse location in Chantilly Virginia. The opportunity allows an individual to work take ownership of a medium velocity/ scale facility from upstart. Organization, Process Compliance/Flow and Operational Efficiency are the keys to success in ensuring the Field Operations, Finance, Quality and Asset Management Teams are supported in achieving the Corporate Objectives.
This is a Doer’s Role based on Action & Execution.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure the daily Safety, Security and Productivity targets are met through transparent operational excellence and leadership.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized inventories withing the facility. Protecting the cooperate assets.
- Support the Asset Management & Finance Teams through timely & accurate reporting of the induction and disbursement of company assets & consumables.
- Facilitate and execute all required receiving and shipping functions of assets & consumables to support our Field Operations & Quality Teams in meeting their objectives.
- Liaise with and support the ATG, Product Development & Bench Technicians by providing logistical expertise when required.
- Execute monthly “Month End” tasks such as but not limited to RMA close outs & shipments, consumable counts, WIP counts, monthly replenishments and current inventory of fixed assets.
- Participate, support and influence the YE inventory processes to ensure LP&A meet their annual cooperate targets.
- Participate in building a strong culture of accountability, safety, and service delivery to support achievement of goals and key performance metrics.
- Lead by example and assist in creating an environment that rewards and recognizes talent and high performance.
What You Bring:
- High School diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree an asset.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics management role with a history of leading high performing team and delivering results.
- Ability to lift 65 lbs. on a regular basis and pick-pack and replenish from pick facing within the facility.
- Ability to operate shipping & receiving equipment such as a reach truck (forklift), banding or taping machine, box cutters and pallet jack.
- Ability to operate technology including but limited to a laptop, CP4, RF scanners, POS shipping systems by FEDEX & UPS and MS Office.
- Demonstrated solid judgment, and decision-making skills.
