Sr Director Segment Optimization

A Day in the Life:

The Senior Director, of Segment Optimization is a highly collaborative, data-driven, and experienced leader who works cross-functionally to create and execute global demand management and customer segment optimization to drive revenue growth.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Accountable for vision, integration, and execution of key processes to implement segment strategies to ensure maximum revenue growth.
• Makes data-driven decisions on when/where to scale-up proof-of-concept differentiated customer products and services.
• Monitors competitor strategies and data; maintain understanding of the dynamics of the market and demand generators.
• Checks distribution channels regularly for positioning, information accuracy, and competitor positioning.
• Collaborates and partners with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Revenue Management to drive long-term new revenue growth across the organization.
• Ensures continuous improvement in our planning capabilities and partners with Revenue Forecasting and FP&A to improve accuracy of demand forecasts.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred, not required.
• 10+ years prior experience in revenue management, financial forecasting, and/or quantitative analysis function required.
• Extensive experience in revenue generation, marketing promotions, market research, and sales analysis, preferably in the travel or rental car industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly advanced Excel functionality and PowerPoint) and data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Strong problem-solving, logical reasoning, communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Strong curiosity to understand issues in depth and find root causes, works well under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to lead and participate in high-level executive meetings.
