We are looking for an IBCS Software Adapted Component Interface Product Owner to join our team to support the IFMC AMD MC PdO.

The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Adapted Component Interface (ACI) Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms.
• Working with Program Management to set priorities for new capabilities and defects, and providing guidance to the ACI team for each Program Increment (PI) and Sprint.
• Supporting the team in the development of acceptance criteria for ACI tasks and stories, as well as being responsible for the verification of work performed by the ACI team.
• Technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership.
• Reporting on status; recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.
• Other duties as assigned.

At a minimum you should have:

• US Citizenship and be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
• Possess an active (as well as maintain) a US SECRET security clearance.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics
• A good understanding of concepts relating to management of adapted ASoS components (Sensor, Launcher, Uplink Device, IFF Device) to support engagements.
• The ability to work directly with the Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.
• Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• A minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

You will be highly desirable if you have:

• Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
• The ability to “move out” and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude.
• Experience in JIRA/Confluence.
• Security + and Linux experience.
• An Agilist Certification.

Estimated Salary Range:

• Intermediate: $120,000 - $140,000
• Senior: $145,000 - $180,000
