Department Focus:
The Integrations team at Deliverect plays a vital role in connecting partners and customers to our platform. The team focuses on three key pillars: API Support, Technical Project Management (TPM), and Partner Integration Management. The API Support team globally manages partners and customers integrating with Deliverect APIs. The TPM team globally manages new and existing Deliverect-built integrations. The Partner Integration Management team globally manages technical relationships with large channel partners and global POS partners.
Your Impact:
As the Integrations Team Lead, you will be a pivotal figure in our Integrations Enablement team, which powers the core engine of our integration layer. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction and leading the team from our Ghent office. Your expertise in writing well-tested code, guiding team members, and building innovative API integrations will directly contribute to Deliverect's growth and ability to work with global partners like Uber, DoorDash, and Deliveroo. 
This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 3 days in our Ghent, Belgium office and 2 days from the comfort of your home.

What you will do:

• Build API integrations for leading national and global POS/channel systems.
• Innovate with the large volume of data we process, optimizing how data is handled to reflect all interactions from external systems.
• Anticipate performance problems and prevent them by thinking at scale.
• Develop core product features that enhance our application.
• Mentor and guide other developers in their work, helping them solve complex problems.
• Lead code reviews and ensure that unit and integration tests meet our requirements.
• Plan and execute on sprints, leading the team's day-to-day tasks.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively on a daily basis with other teams, including product owners, customer success, and technical account managers.
• Help choose new technologies and frameworks to tackle problems.
• Engage with customers or integration partners directly to identify areas for improvement.

What you will bring:

• Senior-level and leadership experience, with the desire to build a team around you while remaining a hands-on coder.
• 8+ years of experience using Python in a web context (we use Flask and Eve as our backend framework) or experience with other languages like Ruby with a willingness to learn quickly.
• Proven experience with building Web/REST APIs and a variety of API standards (REST, JSON-RPC, SOAP/XML).
• Experience with API clients like Postman, Insomnia, or Bruno.
• Familiarity with SaaS products or working on a product with frequent releases within a rapidly scaling global company.
• A passion for mentoring developers, up-skilling them, and giving and receiving feedback.
• The ability to navigate ambiguity and build solutions with limited resources.
• A proactive, creative mindset, continuously seeking to improve processes and customer/partner experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Nice to Have:
• Good knowledge of databases, especially NoSQL (ideally MongoDB).
• Understanding of Docker or Kubernetes in a cloud environment.
• Experience with deployment safety and testing.
