Senior Technician (Machinist/Millwright)

As a Senior Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing specialized predictive and preventive maintenance equipment inspections; troubleshooting; planning, installing and/or modifying plant equipment and related systems in accordance with Key Performance measures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/regulatory requirements, and divisional goals. Performing corrective and preventive work orders throughout the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Fill out and review work permit in conjunction with operation personnel prior to starting a job.
• Ensure all lockout – tagout procedures are followed.
• Locate equipment problem and discuss potential causes.
• Recommend practical solutions of technical causes.
• Diagnose problems and repair blowers, pumps, airlocks, gearboxes, conveyors, valve installation, pipe welding is a plus, threading and installation.  Use of laser alignment tools preferred.
• Repair damages and defects to equipment as per technical instructions and discuss.
• Additional accountability and responsibilities provided by leadership.
