By </span>joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.</p><p><span>Citi has had a presence in Ireland since 1965, it was one of the first foreign banks to open an office in the country and is the Citibank Europe Plc Headquarters. </span></p><p></p><p><b>Team/Role Overview</b></p><p>The Payments Business Execution Lead is a senior level role responsible for driving results through close partnership and collaboration within the Payments Business Execution Team and across the broader Payments organization.</p><p>This team spearheads strategic initiatives across the Global Payments business, including driving revenue growth, managing expenses and headcount, monitoring business performance, providing insightful sales analytics and reports, collaborating with COO, Sales and Other Services business teams to implement Services/Citi-wide strategic initiatives, develop and enhance strategic frameworks.</p><p>Reporting to the Global Payments Business Execution Head, this role demands exceptional analytical, communication, and management skills, coupled with strong leadership abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a relentless focus on execution. The Business Execution Lead will lead all Business Execution activities for Payments UK/Europe cluster, supporting Payments UK/Europe Head on daily basis, as well as drive Payments Global strategic initiatives and projects. This role offers a comprehensive view of the Global Payments business and its strategic priorities, providing significant professional development opportunities.</p><p></p><p><b>What you’ll do</b></p><ul><li>Strategic <span><span>Initiatives: Collaborate</span></span> with Business, Function, and Cluster Heads to advance Payments-wide strategic priorities, encompassing business performance management, client experience enhancements, headcount management, and expense management</li><li>Business Alignment & <span><span>Collaboration: Partner</span></span> with local and cross-functional business teams to ensure consistent alignment with overarching business goals, lead key business forums in UK/Europe to drive business growth</li><li>Revenue/Sales Analytics: Lead revenue and sales analytics, delivering strategic insights to drive revenue growth across product lines and customer segments, focusing on UK/Europe applying Global Payments Framework</li><li>Executive Communications & <span><span>Reporting: Coordinate</span></span> the preparation of materials for key leadership forums, including Business Reviews, Town Halls, internal and external business reviews, presentations, and Citi earnings preparations. Manage ad-hoc deliverables related to reviews, reporting, and strategic initiatives.</li><li>Operational <span><span>Excellence: Partner</span></span> with key stakeholders to establish and refine best practices, streamlining processes to enhance business management activities and drive efficiency gains.</li><li>Project Management & <span><span>Execution: Drive</span></span> the implementation of business-critical projects across functions, collaborating closely with relevant senior leadership.</li><li>Knowledge Sharing & <span><span>Communication: Effectively</span></span> communicate business and product knowledge, as well as strategic requirements, to business units and internal support functions.</li><li>Risk Management & <span><span>Compliance: Diligently</span></span> assess risk in all business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to internal policies and exercising sound ethical judgment.</li><li>Regulatory <span><span>Forums/Questionnaires:</span></span> Coordinate preparation of materials for meetings, presentations and exams related to UK/Europe regulatory requests</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we’ll need from you</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.</li><li>Relevant experience in financial markets, business strategy and execution, or financial management. Experience with Banking businesses, particularly Treasury and Trade Solutions or Securities Services, is highly desirable.</li><li>Language Skills: Fluent English required</li><li>Analytical <span><span>Skills: Exceptional</span></span> analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>Prioritization & Time <span><span>Management: Proven</span></span> ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently, consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li><span><span>Communication: Excellent</span></span> written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely across all levels of audiences.</li><li>
