FLEX Senior Systems Engineer

This is a temporary position.  

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

Required Experience:

•      10+ years performing general z/OS systems programming

•      10+ years performing all aspects of DB2 systems programming work (installation, maintenance, configuration, testing and applications support)

•      5+ years performing installation, maintenance, configuration and support of a wide range of Broadcom and BMC ISV products

•      2+ years performing ACF2 security administration.

 

Desired Experience:

•      Coupling Facility, SYSPLEX, and Structures

•      z/OSMF customization and usage

•      Performance monitoring and tuning

•      Assembler and REXX programing.

 

Other Requirements:

•      Inclusion in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support

•      Perform analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement

•      Update and create system documentation as necessary.

Salary Range (based on compa-ratio to accommodate all pay zones)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
