Job Description

Purpose
The Maintenance Tech III will independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department and train lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.

Hours/Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Rotating Shift - 4 days on/4 days off)

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct. 
• Maintain the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
• Assist in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis. 
• Support continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
• Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
• Demonstrate capability of training others on tasks.
• Utilize multiple skilled trade disciplines and create or edit maintenance job plans. 
• Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks. 
• Understand and follow all safety and GMP regulations. 

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
• CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
• Working knowledge of the HVAC/R VALIDATION / COMMISSIONING PROCESS.
• Certified by the Federal EPA for operation of refrigerant reclaiming equipment and for proper usage and disposal of all refrigerants is a plus.
