Our laboratory focuses on uncovering dysregulated pathways in cancer cells and targeting these pathways to develop innovative cancer therapies for both humans and companion animals. The laboratory is housed within the state-of-the-art Joint Health Sciences Center (JHSC) in New Jersey. The JHSC shares its campus with Rutgers University, the Coriell Institute for Medical Research, and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, offering exceptional opportunities for collaboration, interdisciplinary learning, and professional growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute cancer research projects (explore dysregulated pathways in cancer cells and investigation of cancer therapies using in vitro and murine models), publish results in peer-reviewed journals, and present at conferences.
- Design and manage projects from conception to completion, including hypothesis development, collaboration coordination, and timeline/budget oversight.
- Mentor students, supervise lab operations, and train team members in various cancer research techniques.
