Our Industrial Security team in Nashua and Merrimack NH, is presently seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join the team. This position will be responsible for the management of security operations for the Raytheon Nashua, NH and Merrimack, NH locations with primary responsibilities as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) under the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Reporting to the Raytheon Associate Director of the Eastern Region, the chosen candidate will also have support security responsibility throughout the Northeast. You will be a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal direction. The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
What You Will Do
- Working with the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other relevant DoD security guidance to implement/continue a security program/presence.
- Conduct international shipments and monitor for compliance with DCSA and ITAR/EAR export control regimes. Seek to become the Designated Government Representative (DGR).
- Traditional COMSEC account custodian role responsibilities maybe required.
- Coordinate and collaborate with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems.
- Ability and working knowledge on managing prime / subcontract DD-254 forms (Contract Security Classification Specifications) and the National Industrial Security System (NISS)
- Develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program.
- Conduct initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre- / post-foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate.
- You will investigate security violations and prepare reports detailing procedures to preclude future occurrences.
- Closely work with other security cores. Including Physical, Cyber, Security Business Partners and Special Programs where needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, STEM, or Business. Other degrees will be considered.
- An advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
- Min of eight (8) years’ of experience in a Security or related field
- Two (2) years’ of Facility Security Officer(FSO) or Assistant FSO experience
- National Industrial Security Program experience and expertise
- Work experience interacting / working with Defense Counterintelligence, Security Agency and/or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel as well as varying levels of senior and executive leadership
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
