Senior Release Delivery Manager – CBP Program Delivery

 

Nordea’s Core Banking Program (CBP) is the largest Program in Nordea’s portfolio. It is a complex transformation to consolidate our technology systems via a common Nordic platform, enable a more modern platform and faster time to market for our Nordic digital offerings to customers. We are expanding the product offering and migrating customer accounts from legacy onto the new platform (N-core), starting with Finland and Denmark savings and transaction accounts followed by Sweden and Norway.  The Program Delivery team within CBP is responsible for release management and external dependency management with domains outside of CBP.  We are looking for a Senior Release Delivery Manager for Migration to be part of the Program Delivery team.

 

What you will be doing:

  • As a Release Manager, you are responsible for the release delivery lifecycle. You continually ensure that the release is executed as defined by release process, policies and requirements
  • Responsible for planning, implementing and managing release processes across N-core releases, offers, account migrations and minor releases
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams in different locations
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews together with Implementation Team
  • Support release deployment plans and activities in collaboration with Implementation Team
  • Responsible for Release Reporting
  • Facilitation of Daily Program Release meeting
  • Facilitate review sessions for Hotfixes / Minor Releases
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the business, external domains and other stakeholders
  • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
  • Conduct Release Retrospectives and identify improvements
  • Coordinate with Risk Manager to conduct QRA Risk session for each release

Experience:

  • 10+ years of related work experience in large-scale transformation programs in the areas of Core Banking or Financial Services industry
  • 10+ years of experience in delivery leadership roles
  • Preferably, 5+ years of experience in Release Management or Data Migration role
  • Preferably, 5+ years experience with Core Banking software such as Temenos or SAP
