RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update existing AV/VTC systems, including hardware, software, patches, upgrades, and unique VTC applications, using government-approved solutions.
- Provide both standard and advanced enterprise-wide AV/VTC support, including configuration, troubleshooting, and resolution of hardware/software issues.
- Manage and track AV/VTC support requests using ServiceNow, ensuring timely input, updates, and closure of tickets.
- Support and maintain a wide range of AV/VTC equipment, including CODECs, network connections, controllers, audio/video interfaces, Cable TV, CCTV, and other peripherals within the government environment.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty or proprietary repairs, validate the accuracy of vendor fixes, and ensure equipment is fully restored.
- Serve as an AV/VTC subject matter expert (SME) to DLA Information Operations and DLA Headquarters, assisting with the setup and deployment of AV/VTC systems.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to DLA Information Operations personnel on AV/VTC deployment, administration, and troubleshooting best practices.
- Research and evaluate the impact of upgrades, patches, service packs, and applications on AV/VTC systems, providing recommendations to minimize downtime.
- Deliver advanced AV/VTC support to site personnel and advise DLA Headquarters personnel on AV/VTC strategies and solutions.
- Ensure AV/VTC systems remain secure by responding to DLA CERT Advisories, Bulletins, and Taskings, mitigating vulnerabilities across equipment and transmissions.
- Generate and deliver reports to the Information Assurance Office for monitoring and tracking CERT compliance and AV/VTC security posture.
- Prepare and present project updates, findings, and technical briefings as directed by the TOPM, COTR, or COR.
- Provide Advanced AV/VTC Support for the AV/VTC infrastructure at DLA, Information Operations
- Provide support in the implementation and sustainment of AV/VTC throughout DLA, Information Operations
- Create and maintain network diagrams, equipment configuration guides, and user-friendly job aids to standardize AV/VTC operations and reduce reliance on administrators for basic tasks.
- Support the implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of AV/VTC infrastructure across DLA Information Operations.
- Provide after-hours and on-call support as needed (historically limited to ~12 incidents per year), with occasional overtime required for security remediation, hardware/software issues, workstation replacements, equipment lifecycle management, or overseas support.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience, including demonstrated support of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems or comparable IT systems. Experience must encompass participation in at least two (2) projects directly related to the technical areas specified in the Statement of Work Task Area, with at least one (1) such project performed within the past three (3) years.

- Computing Environment Certification (one of the following within 6 months of hire):
- 100-150 Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking
- 100-160 Cisco Certified Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity

We are seeking a skilled VTC Administrator to support enterprise-wide audio/visual and video teleconferencing systems for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Fort Belvoir, VA.
In this role, you will maintain and enhance AV/VTC infrastructure, ensure secure and reliable operations, and provide expert technical support to end users across multiple sites. The ideal candidate has hands-on IT experience with VTC systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a trusted subject matter expert for staff and leadership.
