Job Description

The coordinator for Asset Protection (AP) Field is responsible for all administration and program coordination for our global AP Field teams. The coordinator will also oversee and facilitate cross-functional communication relating to new stores, expense management, and any additional AP-related needs for our Stores.  This position is responsible for budgetary ownership of new stores equipment and management of store guards and safe processes. This role will maintain our clearinghouse of AP-related information, including training documentation and personnel files.  The coordinator will also fully support virtual and in-person events across the total AP department, including both the planning and execution phases.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • All AP-specific coordination required for field personnel, up to & including new hires, terminations & promotions; namely the following activities:
    • Collaboration with IT on all hardware setup, distro-setup & access-grants as well as equipment recovery
    • Building onboarding schedules & maintaining training materials
    • Building & maintaining personnel files, including performance-based documentation & accreditations
    • Support & account management for all AP vehicles through nominated Corporate provider
    • Maintaining strong communication and partnership with AP’s HR Business Partner & Recruiter
    • Sending final-week termination checklist & equipment checklist; completing system cleanup
    • Management of field mentorship program
  • Supporting the expense management process, e.g. processing hi-risk/flagged expense reports
  • Ownership of AP-meeting organization & coordination, including recurring calls, field team visits & quarterly meetings, and management of engagement budget
  • Managing the budget, install and inventory for all new and existing store related AP equipment, as well as coordination for all contract security guards (when necessary). This includes but is not limited to:
    • EAS vendor management
    • Purchase Order (PO) drafting & processing
    • Drafting & maintaining all relevant process training materials
    • Issue resolution pre/post-open
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining safe processes for global stores fleet
  • Building & maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships including Home Office Development, Store Communications, and Store Construction
    • Coordinating execution of annual AP Awareness Week and Safety Week materials
  • Participation and organization support for all AP committees
  • Providing ad hoc support to AP field personnel to assist in issue resolution

 

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-2 years of work experience within Asset Protection/Loss Prevention or equivalent required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
  • Experience with AP-related hardware/equipment/systems preferred
  • Event coordination experience preferred
  • Experience with documentation-building software (e.g. Adobe, InDesign) required
  • PO-writing experience preferred
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to be flexible to changing demands and respond to feedback
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, structured environment
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners to achieve the vision of the larger team
  • Passion for the A&F brands
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
