Job Overview:

ClientWorks is our comprehensive advisor workstation designed — and continually refined — to help financial advisors run their business more efficiently. This system offers a single location to access all client account types, access data, and process business. It includes tools for account opening, client management, trading, moving money, and more.

 

Our job on the ClientWorks Platform team is to ensure our users have a workstation that is intuitive and easy to use so that they have more time to engage with their clients and prospects. We look to deliver on this responsibility by:

  • Simplifying the way in which our users access and manage their clients' information and making it easy to navigate to tools that allow them to take action on that data

  • Being a force multiplier for other product areas by providing them with a foundation of common core capabilities that simplify their development process and help them align with our system standards and design principles
     

As a Senior Product Analyst – Data at LPL, you will combine strategic analysis, data fluency, and product mindset to uncover insights that shape key decisions across LPL’s platforms and solutions. You’ll analyze business performance, support new product strategies, and partner cross‑functionally to deliver enhancements that help advisors better serve their clients. This role blends quantitative depth, hypothesis‑driven problem‑solving, and execution excellence in a dynamic, innovation‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify data‑centric business challenges and opportunities; conduct deep analysis to produce actionable recommendations that enhance LPL’s advisor and client offerings.

  • -Perform modeling and analytics in support of new product strategies, pricing insights, and platform improvements across advisor‑facing financial solutions.

  • Develop insights that shape marketing strategies, digital experiences, and advisor‑engagement initiatives within LPL’s product ecosystem.

  • Partner with technology and product teams to inform the design of new tools, data capabilities, and client experiences.

  • Support risk‑related and credit‑trend analyses by connecting historical data with forecasted patterns and building/testing analytical models.

  • Lead hypothesis development, solution analysis, feasibility scoping, implementation planning, and success metric monitoring.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Technology, Operations, Finance, and Advisor Experience to improve service, efficiency, and profitability.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, consulting, or business analysis, preferably within a financial services or related FinTech firm.

  • 3+ years as a product analyst, business analyst or data scientist 

  • 1+ years analyzing data complex data to translate into business insights, driving informed recommendations
