Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re disrupting the industry with our game-changing product and culturally driven creativity, and are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting team. The AP specialist will support SKIMS Inventory Senior Accountant and Accounts Payable Supervisor.
Responsibilities
· Perform accurate daily entering of invoices and credit memos for both inventory and non-inventory accounts payable· Complete 3-Way match for inventory vendors to confirm accuracy of receipts· Identify and investigate any discrepancies in invoices, statements and vendor accounts· Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices· Assist with monthly accrued expense analysis· Assist with 1099 fillings on an annual basis· Monitor and respond to vendor inquiries· Record invoices to the correct general ledger account, subsidiary and correct accounting period· Ensure the proper workflow approval is set up for invoices within the system· Communicate any issues timely to their manager· Assist with certain month end activities· Ad hoc responsibilities and reports as needed
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree preferred· 2-4 years experience in a similar role· Proficient with Microsoft Excel· Experience with ERP software, NetSuite is a plus· Experience with bill.com is a plus· Effective communication skills both with internal teams and external vendors· Strong attention to detail· Ability to problem solve· Great time management skills· Extremely organized· Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced organization
