What does the job involve?

This role supports the Marine, Logistics and Facilities team and involves working onshore and dockside contributing towards safe, efficient logistics and supply chain operations for an offshore wind farm. This role reports to the Marine Facilities & Logistics Lead.

Responsible for planning and coordinating transportation of goods, and equipment, maintaining efficient transportation and coordinating with the supply chain management team. Monitoring logistics performance, stock control, compliance and adhering to safety and security regulations.

You are utilizing your knowledge in a specific area to carry out tasks that have a short-term operational impact/risk. You independently complete assigned work, either with guidance or by following well-defined guidelines and procedures, in order to achieve targets, set by others that have an impact on your immediate team. You effectively communicate facts, practices, and policies to individuals within your immediate team and occasionally with external parties. You adhere to established procedures, identify and resolve challenges, seek continuous improvement, embrace change and ambiguity, and demonstrate flexibility to adopt new activities and ways of working. What will my tasks be?

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:

  • Support offshore maintenance and operations for wind turbines.

  • Contributing towards the day-to-day stock management of Plant Asset​.

  • Managing tooling and equipment requirements and inventories. ​

  • Conducting routine inspections of warehouse related areas and activities​.

  • Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from, Vesels, Transport Vehicles and Cranes​.

  • Ensure proper freight piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo​​.

  • Conducts various stock and waste management activities to include reporting and inspections​.

  • Break down cargo, sort as required, check freight against manifest and store in proper manner and location in the Vessel warehouse.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a similar warehouse environment.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills; (SAP, MS Office applications). 

  • Work collaboratively with a wide variety of personnel within all levels of the industry.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and operate in a respectful manor with all people.

  • Strong Initiative and motivation to learn new ways of working.

Salary band: $90,926 - $136,389
