About the Opportunity
The successful candidate will be providing research support for a project investigating how the COVID-19 pandemic has had differential economic impacts at the intersections of race/ethnicity and gender.
Responsibilities
The RA will assist in:
downloading, merging, and cleaning data
running statistical analyses in the programming language R
formatting results in Word; converting datasets from R to Stata
locating academic literature to include in the literature review
formatting the paper for journal submission
other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in economics or other closely related field. Required skills: Strong programming skills in R, coursework in statistics and econometrics, and the ability to format tables and bibliographies in Word. Preferred skills: Experience with Stata and familiarity with Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition.
