Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Assist with the overall operations and staff in Table Games, Slot Operations, Poker and Sportsbook.
  • Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Assist with preparing, monitoring, and adhering to budgets and ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives. Reports budget concerns/deviations to Executive Management / VP of Casino Operations.
  • Oversees labor cost management and optimized scheduling by aligning staffing levels with forecasted business volumes.  
  • Leads the floor staff in effective yielding strategy for table games. 
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to Casino Operation/Sports Book policies and services, and resolves occupants’ complaints while supporting all customer service programs.
  • Protects and preserves assets of the company.
  • Responsible for the overall integrity of Slot, Table, Poker and Sports Book operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / VP of Casino Operations.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Ten years of experience in a gaming leadership position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of Table Games/Slots/Poker/Sportsbook operating systems.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of all Table Games/Slots Operations/Poker and Sportsbook operations.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professionalism, discretion and independent judgment that is in the best interest of the company.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Key Colorado Gaming License.
