Team Lead, Powersoak
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Fill in for department supervisor in his/her absence.
- Must be able to perform basic functions of the Department.
- Must be able to lead and direct peers as required.
- Must be able to follow and hold your team accountable to company policies.
- Must be active in Safety programs/Initiatives and perform JHA’s with Supervisors on a regular basis.
- Assist quality personnel with analyzing and taking action on Out of Box and Through put defects
- Responsible for ensuring line is following production schedules and meeting labor efficiency goals for area assigned.
- Responsible for department data entry.
- Operate small tools and pneumatic tools.
- Responsible for a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must have advanced knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls.
- Must be able to read blueprints and/or basic electrical schematics, work orders, and other documents.
- Must have above average communication skills.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be familiar with Unified Brands MAPICS computer system.
- Must be able to accurately keypunch data.
- Must be able to operate various hand tools, including air tools, etc.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. unassisted / 50 + lbs. assisted.
- Must complete the Career Readiness Certification.
BASIC TRAINING, CURRICULUM, AND ANNUAL CERTIFICATION:
- Participate and lead Production Meeting for assigned line.
- Must be certified on all assigned cell assembly stations (Ref: ISO Assembly Certification Process).
- Work with Quality Control Testing for a minimum of 1-week annually.
- Side-by-side phone activity with various Technical Advisors for 1-week annually (40-Hours).
- Emergency response and JHA Certification.
WE THINK YOU’LL THRIVE IF YOU:
- High School education or GED equivalent.
- One year assembly experience
