If you find purpose in driving changes and improvements impacting millions of patients, you might be the perfect fit for the role of a Senior Director, Clinical Medical Regulatory, region BA-SEE.</p> <p> </p> <p>The position</p> <p>As our Senior Director, Clinical Medical Regulatory (CMR) you will provide strategic scientific direction as well as share internal and external perspective, work with all levels of the organization to identify clinical, medical and regulatory opportunities towards capturing the key opportunities in Business Area South-East Europe (BA-SEE). You will report to Corporate Vice President (CVP), BA-SEE and lead and grow the team of five highly engaged professionals. You will also be part of BA-SEE Management Team. The position is based in Warsaw, Poland.</p> <p>As part of your responsibilities, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Support new opportunities and strategic objectives considering the short, medium, and long-term needs, at the same time to drive a highly efficient team and ensuring that each function (C, M, R) reaches its objectives</li> <li>In line with the overall business area strategy build successful medical strategy offering guidance and hands-on medical support to business area office and countries</li> <li>Contribute actively to strategic decisions as a member of BA-SEE management team and drive operational excellence in area of Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs</li> <li>Provide strategic oversight to clinical activities in close collaboration with CDC Head, Poland as well as South-East Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEEMEA) and International Operation (IO) stakeholders</li> <li>Work in close cooperation with affiliates CMR Heads to set CMR strategy and build strong and trust-based relationships with key external stakeholders</li> <li>Grow functional capabilities in alignment with global internal and external standards, facilitate best practice sharing as well as create the culture of innovation characterized by an openness to diverse perspectives and follow through on good ideas</li> <li>Represent NN in terms of vision, values, and commitment in daily conduct with internal and external stakeholders</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>This position will require proven successful ethical pharmaceutical CMR background, patient centric focus, ability to accommodate different affiliate nuances while unlocking all key opportunities and work with a broad stakeholder group.</p> <p>The ideal candiate will have:</p> <ul> <li>Master’s degree and/or postgraduate diploma within medicine and/or biomedical science</li> <li>At least 8 years of pharmaceutical management experience, leading functions such as medical affairs and/or medical and science; must include people management and development</li> <li>Scientific understanding of biotechnology; knowledge of the diabetes, obesity, rare diseases business is an asset.</li> <li>Understanding of product development at a strategic level, health economics as well as strong awareness in terms of the entire value chain</li> <li>Fluent in written and spoken English</li> <li>Ability to travel within business area countries and outside on a regular basis</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>On a personal level we expect you to be strategic thinking with “Can do” attitude and ability to impact without direct authority.
