The HR department has a vacancy on its Delft production site, for the following position:
Manufacturing Site HR Manager
The Position
Reports to the HR Director, works closely with people managers and all employees to drive the HR agenda - to closely support the overall objectives of the organization, acting as a proactive communicator and change agent, someone who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions.
The main activities and responsibilities
- Drive the delivery of the business’ HR plans.
- Member of Site MT Delft.
- Provides day-to-day guidance to people managers and all employees on a variety of actions, such as employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; employee engagement and people management.
- Conducts ongoing supply and demand analysis on staffing and skill needs and designs talent acquisition strategies to meet those needs.
- Responsible for talent acquisition; facilitates the process from candidate selection to successful on-boarding.
- Partners with Payroll; HRIS, talent management & organizational development and Compensation & Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions to stakeholders.
- Responsible for the annual budgeting and manpower planning for the respective functions.
- Build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.
- Counterpart for the Works Council for Site Delft matters.
- Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions.
- Responsible for driving the Performance Management Process and ensuring compliance.
- Ensure smooth functioning of their respective regions/functions by proper management of administration and facilities.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with the legal department when necessary.
- Manage change and execute change management plans.
- Support in building a culture that is suited for the organization needs and performance, and act as a role model.
- Build organization effectiveness through employee relations.
- Execute on proactive labor plans.
- Execute and guide the team on fair and legal practices.
- Successful implementation of central initiatives in each region/ function.

The Ideal Candidate
- 7 years of experience as HR Manager in a chemical or pharmaceutical environment.
- Bachelor or comparable level gained by experience in HR, business economics, law or comparable.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Fulltime available on the Site in Delft.
- Analytical mindset, stable personality.
- Business driven, with an eye for the employees needs and wishes.
- Change agent.
- Can plan and organize efficiently.
