Facility Manager

Pay: $23.00 - $38.00 per hour

 

             

Responsibilities

• The Facility Manager manages facility physical plant and infrastructure operations at the assigned facility to ensure facility readiness to support patient care operations and safe, comfortable occupancy by all internal and external customers. 
• Directly supports the Director or Market Director, Plant Operations by directly overseeing daily inspection, testing, and maintenance processes.  The Facility Manager will be the primary point of contact for daily facility operations and will cover for the Director or Market Director, Plant Operations in the Director’s/Market Director’s absence. 
• Acts as team leader and coordinator for Plant Operations staff. 
• Builds strong collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, effective, efficient facilities.  When facility system failures/disruptions occur, the Facility Manager is the first responder who quickly assesses, troubleshoots, attempts to diagnose, and dispatches appropriate internal and/or external resources to quickly resolve issues to prevent or minimize impact to patient care operations. 
• Keeps the Director/Market Director, Plant Operations informed of facility/infrastructure issues/concerns in a timely manner to ensure leadership is aware and can make timely decisions to resolve infrastructure concerns before then can adversely impact patient/staff/occupant safety and/or patient care operations. 
• Shares on-call coverage with the Director/Market Director, Plant Operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED equivalent required
• A minimum of three (3) years of direct facilities management, healthcare facilities, plant operations and/or supervisory experience managing critical building infrastructure required

Preferred qualifications that will make you successful:

• College Degree or coursework in facilities management, preferably related to healthcare facilities preferred
