About the Role:  

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team to oversee the warehouse operations and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient handling, storage, and distribution of products while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and productivity. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities.  
  • Plan and adjust work priorities to ensure materials flow efficiently for kits, aligning with monthly and quarterly revenue goals.   
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and keep accurate inventory records. 
  • Promote and embody Spartronics' core values: Unity, Accountability, Transparency, and Respect. 
  • Empower and mentor Team Leads in critical technical and leadership skills, equipping them for expanded responsibilities and fostering their growth as influential leaders. 
  • Lead the team to ensure efficient workflows and uphold high performance standards. 
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth logistics and resolve any inventory discrepancies, including Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMR).  
  • Create and maintain an efficient warehouse layout and storage system to maximize space utilization.  
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, order status, and other key operational metrics.   
  • Conduct audits of freight bills to verify the accuracy of transportation invoicing and to ensure effective cost control. 
  • Oversee order picking and packing processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.   
  • Collect, prepare, and present area KPIs for daily team meetings and management's GEMBA walks.  
  • Identify root cause and corrective actions for defects and issues in the area.   

Requirements


 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisor/leadership role.  
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles. 
  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Software and MS Office Suite. 
  • Capacity to make sound decisions under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Competence in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. 
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting. 
  • Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, or a related field. 
  • Experience in electronics or aerospace manufacturing.  
  • Familiarity with IPC and ISO standards in a materials context.  
  • Experience supporting customer or third-party inventory audits.

  • Implementing cost management strategies and streamlining processes to minimize expenses. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods. 
  • Use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools. 
  • Manual and visual inspection of incoming and outgoing materials. 
  • Able to work in both office and warehouse environments as needed.
