The Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring the corporate office environment is safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role supports day-to-day building operations, handles maintenance requests, and assists with office space setups, meeting set ups, repairs, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality support across the Corporate Office organization.

• Outside vendors and guests

Job Responsibilities:

1. Respond to and resolve facilities-related service requests, including lighting, furniture, internal plumbing, and minor electrical issues.

2. Conduct regular inspections of corporate office floors to ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and well-maintained.

3. Support office moves, new hire setups, and furniture adjustments in collaboration with IT and other departments.

4. Assist with maintaining common areas, conference rooms, breakrooms, and supply areas to corporate standards.

5. Monitor and restock facility and janitorial supplies as needed.

6. Act as a liaison for external vendors (HVAC, electricians, plumbers) and oversee on-site service work.

7. Assist with emergency response efforts, such as evacuations, water leaks, and safety hazards.

8. Maintain accurate logs and documentation of maintenance activities and completed work orders.

9. Ensure compliance with building safety standards and company policies.

10. Monitor conference room calendar and handle room set ups for scheduled meetings.

11. Serve as backup support for the Mailroom Associate

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical certification a plus.

2. 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in a corporate or commercial office setting.

3. Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety.

4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic maintenance issues independently.

5. Strong communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.

2. Prolonged periods of standing.

3. Ability to operate an automobile, clean driving record.

4. Comfortable using tools, ladders, and maintenance software or apps
