Waterfront Operations Assistant Work Study

Waterfront Operations Assistants report to the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation and support all daily operations and programming at The Dock. This position ensures quality participant experience, while establishing and monitoring the safety of all students/participants.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide high-quality student/customer service Ensure participant check-in and documentation Monitor weather and water conditions to ensure safety of participants Verbal delivery of safety briefings to participants before they enter the water Setup & breakdown of the watersports area and equipment Cleaning & beautification of area and equipment Provide watersport specific instruction & demonstration for safe student usage General maintenance of equipment and resources Assist with additional programing and special events as directed Must be able to lift 40+ lbs Other duties as assigned

Required Experience: Must be able to swim
